1. Products Eligible to be Sold

Products listed on Made in Tanzania should be made, manufactured, assembled, processed or meaningfully created in Tanzania.

Handmade & Crafts

Handicrafts, woodwork, pottery, baskets, carvings, beads and locally made art.

Fashion & Textiles

Clothing, shoes, bags, fabrics and locally manufactured textile products.

Beauty & Personal Care

Soaps, oils, creams, cosmetics and other locally produced personal-care products.

Food & Beverages

Honey, spices, tea, coffee, flour, snacks, packaged foods and beverages.

Home & Living

Furniture, décor, kitchenware and other household products made locally.

Other Products

Machinery, equipment, agricultural products, electrical products and other eligible goods.

Products must be legal, safe, authentic and comply with applicable Tanzanian laws and regulations. Counterfeit, prohibited, misleading or harmful products are not permitted.

2. How to Register as a Seller

Becoming a seller is simple. Complete the required information and submit your business for review.

Provide business name, location, category and operating information.

Submit requested documents and information for verification.

Once approved, you will receive access to your seller tools.

Add clear product images, descriptions, prices and origin information.

Verification helps buyers identify trustworthy sellers. Made in Tanzania may request additional information where necessary.

3. Seller Consent & Agreement

By registering and selling on Made in Tanzania, you confirm and agree to the following conditions.

Products Not Allowed

Counterfeit or fake branded products.
Illegal or prohibited goods.
Products with deliberately false origin claims.
Unsafe or harmful products.
Products that violate intellectual-property rights.
Imported finished goods falsely advertised as Made in Tanzania.
